Neuroimaging Findings of Secondary Headache which can Mimic Cluster Headache
Chung Pil-Wook

Abstract
Cluster headache, which is major subtype of trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias (TACs), is characterized by frequent, short-lasting headache attacks with ipsilateral facial autonomic features. Pathophysiology of cluster headache is poorly understood. Although cluster headache is primary headache disorder with normal neuroimaging findings, there are numerous case reports of cluster-like headache secondary to structural lesions in the brain. Here, we reviewed the case studies on secondary cluster headache. Cluster headaches were found to be associated with a wide range of intracranial and extracranial vascular and structural lesions. Neuroimaging should be considered in all patients with cluster or cluster-like headache, especially in those with atypical presentation or changing patterns of headache attack.
